Professional Photographic Repair has been in business in the Kearny Mesa Industrial Park area of San Diego for over 21 years. We provide service on all makes and models of photographic equipment including: all 35mm point & shoot and SLR models; medium format including: Hasselblad, Mamiya, Bronica, and Pentax; and large format such as Linhof and Sinar. We also service most accessories and studio equipment: lenses, motor drives, tripods, darkroom equipment, flash units, and power packs. Further, we service slide and movie projectors, overhead projectors and video equipment (both VCRs and camcorders). We have five specialized repair departments that keep repairs with the most qualified and experienced technicians.

Besides our over-the-counter customers, PPR has major accounts with Hasselblad, Eastman-Kodak, Fuji, Minolta, Konica, 3M, Norman, Novatron, & Dynalite. We are a fully-authorized Service Center for these companies. A large percentage of our business includes Commercial and Wedding Photographers, and Photographic dealers from all around California, Hawaii, Oregon, Arizona, & Nevada. We also carry contracts for the repair of photographic and video equipment for the County of San Diego, many law-enforcement agencies, and many school districts.

We use only state of the art diagnostic equipment: Kyoritsu shutter and exposure analysis equipment, Richter optical test bench, Pearl optical auto-collimator, ZTS autofocus testers, and Sencore video test equipment.

The professional approach of our front office and service personnel, combined with our 2-level quality assurance program, consistently provides our customers a high quality product while maintaining a very low return rate. We service, on average, over 800 units a month; the accountability and history of this equipment is maintained on our computer systems.
